Uniline Receives Recognition From The Queen

Over six years, the company has nearly quadrupled its export earnings from £689,000 to £3.93 million, from North America, Europe, Australia, South Africa, the UAE and China.One of its recent projects was to provide safety systems for the construction of New Doha International Airport in Qatar, where American architects specified Uniline.
Company managing director Simon Luke called for other firms to apply for 2012 awards, in an Olympic year, which is also the Queen’s diamond jubilee.
“This Award has worked for us on every level.It has raised our profile amongst our customers and competitors. It is a superb endorsement of our quality products and professional expertise and, for the Uniline team, is a tremendous and well-deserved accolade.
“I have no doubt there are other businesses out there which have all the attributes to win and would urge them to put themselves forward.The UK has a great heritage of innovation and manufacturing, we need more of them to shout about their achievements on an international and global stage.”
The awards are made annually by HM The Queen and are only given for the highest levels of excellence demonstrated in each category. They are judged to a demanding level and winners receive a number of benefits and worldwide recognition.
The application/nomination period for The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise 2012 is now open and closes on October 31. Winners will be announced on April 21 2012.
