The Alcumus Group is newly formed following its recent acquisition of ISOQAR; one of the UK’s largest independent providers of UKAS accredited certification services. Made up of the ISOQAR and the other highly regarded operating subsidiaries Sypol and Infomatrix, the group will be led by CEO Martin Smith.
Martin has over 18 years of business compliance experience in the information, advice and standards markets and has worked nationally and internationally for both corporate and not-for-profit organisations. Formerly the Managing Director of Croner, he has been responsible for contents, software and consulting business streams and secured the acquisition of GEE Publishing. Previous experience includes roles as Commercial Director at BSI British Standards, General Manager of INSPEC, Publishing Director for the Institution of Engineering and Technology, and Business Development Director for GEE.
The Alcumus Group currently comprises safety, health and environmental compliance and advice company Sypol – specialists in COSHH and safety subscription, the compliance software and solutions phentermine 37.5 mg over counter company Infomatrix – leaders in health, safety and environmental property and standards compliance, and most recent acquisition ISOQAR – the UKAS accreditation & certification, auditing and certification services.
Each of the three operating companies involved will now benefit from the shared expertise and resources of The Alcumus Group, whilst maintaining each company’s independence, heritage of service delivery and flexibility to innovate in the evolving certification market. The Alcumus Group is in active discussions with other governance, risk and compliance service providers to further enhance the services of the Group.
